go2tool.com is a free collection of tools for the small money questions that come up every week. What’s a 20% tip on $86? Is my electric bill high for my state? What did gas cost here last month? How much is $100 from 1990 worth now? You shouldn’t have to dig through ten tabs, or hand over your email, to get a straight answer.
go2tool.com is owned and operated by Forelsket Softwares Private Limited, a software company. We build and maintain the tools, the data pipeline and the guides on this site.
What you will find here
- Calculators for pay, tips, overtime, budgets, bills, debt and shopping. Each one shows the formula it uses, so you can check the math yourself.
- Live price data for gas, electricity, groceries and inflation, taken from official U.S. government sources (the Energy Information Administration and the Bureau of Labor Statistics) and updated automatically when they publish new numbers.
- Quick answers. Type a question like “15% of 240” or “electricity cost in Texas” and get the exact figure with its source. If we don’t have a verified answer, we say so instead of guessing.
- Practical guides that explain the questions people are actually asking, from how tariffs work to why your electric bill jumped, with specific numbers and links to the official sources.
How we keep it accurate
- Official sources first. Prices, rates and rules come from government agencies and official program pages, and every data page names its source and the month it covers.
- Automatic checks. Every data update has to pass consistency checks. Anything unusual, like a price that jumps far more than expected, is held for a person to review instead of going live.
- Dates on everything. Our figures say which week or month they describe, so you always know how current they are.
- Corrections. If we get something wrong, we fix it and note what changed. See our editorial policy.
Your privacy
Calculators run in your browser. The numbers you type into them are not sent to us or stored. You never need an account to use anything on the site. Details are in our privacy policy.
Who writes our guides
Guides are published by the go2tool.com Editorial Team. When a guide is written or reviewed by a named person, their name appears on it. We don’t use made-up author personas or invented credentials. Names used in our examples (like “Jenna, a server in Columbus”) are illustrations, not real people.
How we stay free and independent
The site is supported by advertising and, on some pages, affiliate links. Advertisers and partners never see or approve our content before it is published, and they cannot pay to change a result or a recommendation. Read our advertising disclosure and affiliate disclosure.
